New to yoga, or looking to get back to the foundations of what supports a safe and empowering yoga practice? Yoga FUNdamentals provides both the beginner and the seasoned practitioner an opportunity to get in tune with how their bodies move both on and off the mat. In this class you will create a strong connection to your body's abilities as well as learn how to determine what works for you, and what doesn't, in any given yoga posture. Guided by clear instruction, classes will focus on alignment and will incorporate imaginative strength-building exercises to prepare you for a more intense vinyasa flow class. This class will also introduce mindfulness practices and accessible meditations to begin to explore how our intentions impact the way we feel on and off the mat. You don't need to be able to touch your toes in this class, just bring an open mind and heart.

This class uses the LYT Yoga Method, a form of vinyasa yoga created by a physical therapist, that aims to educate, empower, and upgrade your mind and body's ability to connect and move optimally.
